By booking Tresillian Lodge, you agree to the payment schedule, cancellation policy, house rules, and property usage terms outlined below. These terms ensure a smooth experience for all guests and protect both parties throughout the booking process.

All bookings made directly through this website or via contact are subject to these terms.
Booking & Payment Terms
To confirm a reservation:
- 50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation
- The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before arrival
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is structured as follows:
- 100% refund if canceled 30 days or more before arrival
- 50% refund if canceled 14 days or more before arrival
- No refund if canceled less than 14 days before arrival
Refunds apply only to amounts already paid.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit applies:
- Pre-authorization of approximately $1350
- Held on the day of arrival
- Released within 4 days after departure (subject to inspection)
This protects against damage, loss, or excessive cleaning requirements.
Property Use & Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Respect the property and its surroundings
- Keep noise to a reasonable level
- Follow all house rules
- Leave the property in good condition
The property is located in a private woodland setting, and guests must respect the environment.
Occupancy Limits
- Maximum occupancy: 6 guests
- Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight
Unauthorized guests may result in cancellation without refund.
Restrictions
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Smoking inside the property
- Pets
- Parties or disruptive gatherings
These rules are enforced to maintain property quality and guest experience.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: 5:00 PM
- Check-out: 10:00 AM
Guests must adhere to these times unless otherwise agreed.
Property Access & Conditions
- The lodge is accessed via a 1 km private track
- Some vehicles (e.g., very low sports cars) may not be suitable
Guests are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property.
Maintenance & Issues
If any issue arises during your stay:
- Contact the host immediately
- A local house manager is available to assist
We aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
Liability
Tresillian Lodge is not liable for:
- Personal injury during your stay
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Disruptions beyond our control (weather, utilities, etc.)
Guests stay at their own risk.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
